We are gearing up for a fantastic group of local pets to strut their stuff and be crowned the winner of the 1st Annual Pickering Wharf Pet Costume Contest!
Check out the GRAND PRIZES!!! $25 gift certificate to The Hungry Whale and an ENTIRE DAY at the spa located at Living With Pets. The spa day includes everything from a wash, cut, facial, nails......EVERYTHING your dog deserves! That's close to a $100 value!!
The event will be held in the courtyard at The Hungry Whale and will feature some homemad...e pet treats from our friends across the street, Living With Pets! They are all organic and healthy. The photos taken will be provided by out good friend Beth over at The Happy Sunflower, pretty much your go-to place for fun gift items.
All pets and pet owners that participate will receive a fun pumpkin ornament/decoration that will be filled with delicious dog treats for you to take home.
Once we have a photo of each of the animals looking great in their costume, we will upload them to our Facebook page so everyone can vote on their favorite! Voting will be open all weekend and we will tally the votes first thing Monday morning. The winner will be the pet that received the most "likes" and votes on the Facebook page.
