Creative Salem, in cooperation with marketing agency Ad Spice Media, will host a seminar to educate business owners about the functionality of the Facebook Timeline, the new profile design which became mandatory for all brand pages at the end of March.
“Facebook has quickly become the most essential and influential digital referrer of traffic and business. The new Timeline feature will help deliver the story of your brand to customers in more visual and engaging ways. Digital marketing evolves at such a fast pace, it can be difficult to keep up with all the latest trends. We hope to empower local business owners with the tools and knowledge-base they need to succeed," says Kevin Letourneau of Ad Spice Media.
According to Rinus Oosthoek, executive director of the Salem Chamber of Commerce, many business owners struggle to stay on top of current technologies. “We get calls at the chamber all the time,” says Oosthoek.

The seminar will focus on how the new profile display is structured and how it can be optimized to create a competitive business page. Other topics will include content generation, building an audience, when and what to post and how to understand insights and engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of your posts. The seminar will be led by Kevin Letourneau and Darek Barcikowski, also of Ad Spice Media, and will be followed by a question and answer session.
There is no cost to attend the seminar. Interested parties are requested to rsvp by calling 978-594-4465 or e-mailing info@adspicemedia.com with their name and the name of the organization they represent. A very limited number of seats will be available to non-business owners on a first come basis and also require an rsvp.
