The Salem Garden Club will be presenting guest speaker Irwin Ehrenreich: The Rose Man on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 7:00 pm.
Master Gardener and owner of The Rose Man, a rose care service on Cape Cod, Irwin Ehrenreich will cover rose classification and the care of roses from spring pruning through winter protection. Following his lecture, Irwin will share his own rose garden in a slide show. His presentation will show how the gardens were designed, and include information on structures, layout, and ornaments. Irwin’s home garden has been featured in several publications including Country Garden Magazine, Garden Lover’s Cape Cod, Boston Globe and American Rose magazine.
Light refreshments will be served. Non-member contribution of $5 is requested.

The meeting will take place at St. Thomas’ Parish Center which is located at 3 Margin Street, Route 114,Peabody, on the Salem/Peabody line (parking and entrance in the rear).
