After miraculously surviving labor camps and Auschwitz as a child, Judge Buergenthal was reunited with his mother. He came to the US, studied law specializing in international and human rights. He served on the International Court of the Hague for 10 years. He will be receiving an honorary degree at Brandeis next week. Her currently teaches law at George Washington University.
He is the author of “ A Lucky child”. It is an incredibly good read. The book will be available for sale ( hardcover and paperback editions) and book signing by the author.
