Join Friends of Salem Woods members as they lead you over approximately 2.5 miles of rocky, wooded paths. We'll hike to Thompson's Meadow marsh, where we'll look for swans, herons, and swallows.
Meet in the parking lot of Olde Salem Greens golf course - in the back of the lot by the bicycle rack. The pace is moderate, and some sections are a bit steep and rocky, so sturdy shoes are suggested. In July, bug repellent and a bottle of water are also a good idea.
The walks are open to all, and take place the first Saturday of each month, April through November.
If you have questions, please contact walk leader Chris Burke at 978-745-8451.
