Join Friends of Salem Woods members as they lead you on an approximately 2.5 mile hike. Meet in the parking lot of Olde Salem Greens golf course - in the back of the lot by the bicycle rack. The pace is moderate, and some sections are a bit steep and rocky. Sturdy shoes and insect repellant are suggested.
May is a delightful month to explore the woods. Migrating birds are singing, and we might spot an occasional wildflower like the red columbine. Feel free to bring binoculars or a camera.
The walks are open to everyone of all ages, and take place the first Saturday of each month from April through November.
