Sail Salem will be at Salem State University on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. to discuss the opportunities available to the students of Salem State to get out on the water with Sail Salem.
One of Sail Salem’s 420 sailboats will be parked under the archway of Marsh Hall on Central Campus. All students are encouraged to stop by, check out the boat, and speak with representatives about Sail Salem’s Youth and Adult sailing programs and to discuss the potential for bringing a sailing club or activity back to Salem State University.

About Sail Salem: Started in 2008, Sail Salem is an educational program for children promoting positive life skills and values through the sport of sailing. We provide sailing lessons for the children of Salem and surrounding communities who otherwise may not have access or cannot afford a comparable sailing program. Sail Salem also offers adult sailing lessons in the evenings throughout the summer. All lessons are conducted in Salem Harbor off of Winter Island on a fleet of well maintained sailboats, and provided by top notch instructors.
