Following on the heels of the Olympics, Salem Sound Coastwatch is hosting the New England Open Water Championship Races. There will be three races: 500 meters, 1 mile and 5K. Join us and cheer on the swimmers while enjoying the beautiful natural resources at Forest River Park.
Also at the event there will be a marine touch tank, a talking tugboat, giveaways, information about water pollution and marine invasive species, snacks and tee shirts for sale, 26 raffle prizes, chair massage for a donation to Salem Sound Coastwatch.
Free admission to the park for this event. All funds raised support Salem Sound Coastwatch's environmental activities to make our coastal waters and marine habitats clean and safe.
