Salem Little League Registrations
Registrations have been extended due to snow, but with tryouts on March 15th, there are only 2 chances left.
We know it is 20° and there is snow everywhere, but in order to have a Little League season, the planning starts in January and ramps up in late February and March. Uniforms take a month from order to delivery, because every Little League, Babe Ruth, and high school team in the area orders at the same time. This, along with tryouts on March 15th, means the League needs to decide how many teams there will be based on the amount of registrants before tryouts.
To that end, in order to guarantee your son or daughter a spot on a team, you must be registered by March 10th. This gives you two last chances to register, and they are as follows:
Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm at the Salem High School Athletic Field House, 77 Wilson Street, Salem, MA, and Tuesday, March 10, at the Knights of Columbus, Lower Hall, Washington Square (Salem Common), from 7pm-8pm.

Registering after March 10th MAY result in your child being placed on a waiting list. Having teams with 15 kids on them reduces the fun and amount of playing time for all, and we are looking to avoid this.
All new and returning players for 2015 MUST register. National Little League has changed the system for determining the league age for many players. Please note for 2015, T-Ball players must be 4 years old by Dec. 31st 2014 to be eligible.
