First Dates Play For Free At Salem Bar Through Dating App

SALEM, MA — The first question anyone asks when going on a first date is about the location, but one Salem bar is hoping to make that decision a little easier. Bit Bar, located inside the Old Salem Jail, is teaming up with the Boston-based Dating app dipity to offer a free $5 in arcade gameplay for hopeful long-term couples on their first date.

In the dipity app, users swipe left and right on other users much like many other of today's popular dating apps. However, the dipity app also suggests nearby locations for you and your "match" to meet up in. You can offer your "match" a few places to meet up, and set the date.

Dipity users get $5 of free arcade gameplay when they show the dipity app downloaded on their phone to the manager on duty at Bit Bar. The Salem hotspot is also now a featured suggested first date location on the app for potential first dates in Boston and throughout the North Shore.
