Forest River Park Public Pool Opens Sunday For the Season

Salem’s popular aquatic summertime site, the Forest River Park public pool, opens to the public on Sunday, June 28, for the season.

The pool is open to all Salem residents with a seasonal pool pass. Passes are $5 per person and can be purchased at the Salem YMCA on Sewall Street or at www.salemrec.com. For more information about passes, call the Salem YMCA Aquatics Director at 781-990-7070.

The pool is open the following hours, through Labor Day: open swim Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., swim lessons by Salem YMCA staff Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.Extended evening hours for open swim or special community events on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.The pool is also available for private parties and functions, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
