Free Bluebikes Membership For Salem Residents, Employees In October
The membership includes unlimited 45-minute rides for up to 30 days.

SALEM, MA — Salem residents and those who work in the Witch City are eligible for a free 30-day Bluebikes membership this October as a way to help people get around the city during the busy Halloween season.
The membership provides for unlimited 45-minute rides with a $2.50 charge for each additional 30 minutes after 45.
Passes are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

This year's promotion includes employees who work in Salem for the first time.
Bluebikes came to Salem in 2021 with funding from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Salem State University, and the MassDOT Shared Streets & Spaces program.

The system includes stations across the city.
Free memberships can be claimed through Transportation Planner Brendan Linard at blinard@salem.com with your name and address (if a Salem resident) or your name and the name and address of your employer/workplace (if employed in Salem), for verification.
A response can be expected within 24 hours during regular business hours.
Qualifying residents and employees will receive a code to use here or on the Bluebikes mobile app to claim their free 30-day membership.
A valid credit or debit card is required, and the program is limited to riders aged 16 and up.
