SALEM, MA — The historic Peabody Essex Museum is offering free admission on Jan 15. for its exhibits celebrating the legacy and leadership of Martin Luther King Jr.

The day will include the exhibits America, A Hymnal, the writings of Sarah Parker Remond, David Boxer's "The Black Books" and other works that examine social justice, identity and freedom across the generations.

Those attending are invited to take part in the activity "Pour Art with Rahim Gray" from Create Space Studios at 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. where those attending can learn how to make their own fluid acrylics with a local artist.

Those wishing to attend a class should reserve a same-day ticket at the admissions or information desk as the classes are limited to no more than 20 people.
