Frozen Fire Festival Returns To Salem For 2023

The winter festival of ice, fire and cirque performances and activities will be back at Charlotte Forten Park from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1.

SALEM, MA — A unique spectacle of fire, ice and winter fun is returning to Salem next month as the Frozen Fire Festival comes to the Witch City for the second year.

The Anthem Group is bringing back the festival, which includes flaming-arrow exhibitions, cirque performers, live ice sculpting, fire pits, heated igloos, food trucks, a S'mores and Hot Chocolate Garden, bbq smokehouse, and The Polar Bar, featuring local and international craft beer, wine and specialty drinks.

"We are honored to continue our work with the city of Salem to bring this vision to life," Anthem President Chris Sinclair said. "This festival epitomizes everything that is great about Salem.

"It brings together artisan vendors, food and beverage, interactive activities and spectator performances in a beautiful park space along the waterfront."

The Frozen Fire Festival will also feature two curling rinks.

The festival is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight with free general admission and is open to the public. There are charges to participate in certain activities, with festival specials, preferred seating and VIP packages available here.

London's Orissa Kelly, who uses her feet and impressive flexibility to fire flaming arrows into targets, is returning as this year's headliner, along with various acts involving fire- and ice-based performances.

Other performers include Phoenix Fire, Phoenix Swords, Celia, Nettie Loops, Fireborn, Flo Mayhem and Irina Jang.
