Funeral Scheduled for Bridge Crash Victim

Visiting hours and the funeral service for James "Jim" R. Hayes, a Seabrook man and part-time bridge attendant who was in Hampton, N.H. after his shift ended on June 29, will be held in Salem, Mass., this week.

The funeral for Hayes, who was struck — — near the Neil Underwood Memorial Bridge at about , will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at .

The funeral is open to relatives and family, according to an obituary submitted by Hayes' family. Internment for Hayes, who was born in Salem, will be private.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today) in the funeral home, according to the obituary.
