Here's What is Haunted and Happening in Salem This Weekend

The first full weekend of the month-long Halloween celebration in Salem is here.

It looks like it is going to be a raw, drizzly, and windy weekend.

In other words, a perfect weekend to scare up some fun in Salem for Haunted Happenings.

After the Grand Parade kicked off the season on Thursday, it’s now the first full weekend of festivities for locals and tourists alike.

One of the highlights of this weekend is the Haunted Biz Baz Street Fair hosted by the Salem Chamber of Commerce from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall.

Both days this weekend, visitors will be able to shop for uniquely Salem items, be entertained by street performers, and listen to great music. More than 100 vendors will be present on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall.

Also among the highlights this weekend are the Pumpkin Palooza on the Salem Common from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Haunted Salem Magic Show at CinemaSalem, an apple pressing demonstration at the Far From the Tree Tap Room, and the Haunted Movie Series presentation of Ghostbusters on the Salem Common on Saturday evening at 6:30 a.m.

Of course, October in Salem is filled with hundreds of activities for families, tourists, and people of all age.
