The House of the Seven Gables celebrates Salem Heritage Days

Families visiting The Gables learn early navigational techniques and play a Family Navigation Game on 17th Century Saturday

SALEM — During Salem Heritage Days, August 5 through August 14, The House of the Seven Gables’ special Living History Labs give visitors opportunities to experience early navigational tools, 17th century food and quill writing as well as a Family Navigation Game. Admission is free for members and Salem residents. Regular admission costs apply to the general public.

These programs will be offered at The Gables every day during the Salem Heritage Days. Navigation and food demonstrations are scheduled between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Quill writing and a second demonstration of navigational tools are scheduled between 2 and 4:30 p.m. The Family Navigation Game is provided daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
