How Salem Voted In 2024 Presidential Election, State Races

SALEM, MA — Salem voters aligned with much of the rest of the state — if not necessarily the country — in their votes on Tuesday with Witch City residents backing U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren and State Sen. Joan Lovely for re-election, Vice President Kamala Harris for president and four of five state ballot initiatives.
The only place where Salem voters brought with state trends was on the Question 4 legalization of psychedelic drugs for medical purposes where Salem voters backed the initiative by a 12,077 to 10,171 margin, in unofficial results, while the measure is on pace to fail statewide.
