Independent Film Shooting In Salem Seeks Extras
This may be your big break, or maybe just something fun to do if you have 10 to 12 hours to kill in Salem.

SALEM, MA -- The producers of an independent film shooting in Salem this month is seeking five extras for work on Monday. "Mass Hysteria" is a comedy-thriller is about a group of historical re-enactors that are mistaken for actual witches on Halloween in Salem. The producers are seeking extras for shooting on August 1, 6, 8, 10, 17, 20, 26 and 27 for shooting in Salem, Wenham and Gloucester.
"Multiple scenes throughout the film require both large and small groups of background performers, and we would love for you to join us!" the producers wrote on Facebook post announcing the opportunity.
Shooting can last for as long as 12 hours, so volunteers should be free for most of the date on the day they want to participate. Roles vary from shoot to shoot and include pedestrians, restaurant patrons and bus passengers. For more information, see the Facebook post.
