Dec. 23
12:06 a.m.: Police took a report of a breaking an entering into a motor vehicle on Canal St.
4:10 p.m. Police responded to the Boston Hotdog Company for an intoxicated man causing a disturbance. He was placed into protective custody.

Dec. 24
5:32 p.m.: Police took a report of a hit and run at the Salem police station. A man reported that he pulled of a driveway at 135 Jefferson Ave. and a red jeep came up behind him very fast and rear-ended his vehicle. The jeep then drove off. The man's vehicle had a small crack to the rear bumper.
Arrests
Dec. 23, 5:50 p.m.: Eric Robert Barbeau, 31, of Beacon St. in Salem was arrested on a warrant.

Dec. 23, 6:42 a.m.: Marvin Basile, 30, of Sheridan Ave. in Medford was arrested on larceny over $250 and conspiracy.
Dec. 24, 6:44 p.m.: Peter Ducharme, 44, of Lowell was arrested on charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.
Dec. 23, 7:10 p.m.: Daniel R. Harrigan, 49, of Northend Ave. in Salem was arrested on a warrant.
