The Kennek Foundation Motorcycle Ride to Support First Responders
Trouble the Dog Motorcycle Ride to Benefit First Responders and the Children They Serve
The Kennek Foundation's seventh annual Trouble the Dog Motorcycle Ride will take place on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at The Shriner's Auditorium, 99 Fordham Road, in Wilmington, MA. Registration will open at 10:00 AM. Kickstands up promptly at 11:00 AM. All are welcome - no bike required.
The annual Ride, sponsored by Marblehead Opticians, supports police, fire, ambulance, and first responders in several local communities. First responders are utilizing the Trouble the Dog comfort plush toy to soothe children in crisis situations.
The Kennek Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) headquartered in Marblehead, was founded by Sheila Duncan. Ms. Duncan recently received the FBI Boston 2020 Director's Community Leadership Award for "going above and beyond the call of service by making extraordinary contributions to local communities and a significant difference in the lives of others."
