Kitty Litter Thief on the Loose

Garfield's whereabouts on Tuesday afternoon is unaccounted for.

SALEM, MA - Package thefts are a serious issue during the holidays, especially in a city like Salem, where many front doors are mere inches away from the streets and sidewalks.

However, on Tuesday morning, one package thief on Boardman Street was either not too discerning about what he stole, or he has a lot of cats.

Shortly after noon on Tuesday, officers went to Boardman Street for a report of stolen packages. The Boardman Street resident said that she had three packages delivered to her steps at about 8 a.m.
