Learn to Play Hockey in May and June
At Salem/Swampscott Youth Hockey, our motto is "no skater left behind." We teach kids of all ages to play hockey.
If you’re between 5 and 15 and have basic skating skills, we’ll teach you to play hockey. The Salem/Swampscott Youth Hockey Association is offering eight weeks of hockey instruction for beginners. Kids will learn new skills and have a great time. Our organization follows USA Hockey’s American Development Model and uses the Red, White and Blue Hockey beginners hockey program. All coaches emphasize having fun and developing age-appropriate sports skills.
Starting May 7, we skate and play for eight consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 7:05 at the McVann-O’Keefe Rink (511 Lowell St in Peabody, somewhat near Bonkers). Players need full hockey gear including a stick and a helmet with a cage. $150 per player. For more information and to register, please go to http://salemswampscottyouthhockey.org
