Lewd Behavior Arrest at Salem Car Wash

The following information was submitted by the Salem Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:

Monday, April 8:

  • At 4:20 p.m., a hypodermic needle was discovered on May Street.
  • At 5:14 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Ocean Terrace.
  • At 5:19 p.m., police arrested a woman known to have an outstanding warrant at the shelter on Margin Street. Beverlee A. Mookdasnith, 52, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 6:08 p.m., a Fort Avenue woman called police to report that a package was stolen off of her porch in February.
  • At 6:13 p.m., police located a man known to have an outstanding warrant at the shelter on Margin Street. Timothy T. Gay, 47, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 6:52 p.m., police responded to a report of a man masturbating in a motor vehicle at the Salem Car Wash on Canal Street. Stephen D. Edmunds, 26, of 286 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested on three counts of open and gross lewdness.
  • At 8:39 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Colonial Road. Stewart A. Scott, 65, of 161 Burill St., Swampscott, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
  • At 9:12 p.m., police responded to a possible domestic dispute on Chestnut Street. A man told responding officers that he and his wife were just watching a video on Facebook and were laughing at someone being tased with a taser.

  • At 8:57 a.m., police responded to a report of loose dogs on Fort Avenue.
  • At 2:56 p.m., police responded to a report of a runaway from the Plummer Home for Boys on Winter Island Road. The boy was later located nearby.
  • At 3:23 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle near the intersection of Webb and Collins streets. Wade A. Adams, 51, of 28 Silver St., Haverhill, was arrested on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Other arrest:

Kiara M. Ravelo, 20, of 15 Palmer St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
