Salem, MA: Lewy Body Dementia Caregiver Support Group Meeting April 18th
Caregiver Support Group for those caregivers whose loved one is dealing with Lewy Body symptoms

Hard to diagnose, hard to live with. Imagine how hard for caregivers of those with Lewy Body Dementia.
INVITATION: In the spectrum of dementia, after Alzheimer's, is Lewy Body Dementia. According to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, LBD "affects an estimated 1.4 million individuals and their families in the United States, but many doctors or other medical professionals still are not familiar with LBD."
Although there are several support groups for dementia in Essex County and towns north of Boston offering a place for caregivers to meet none is devoted only the Lewy Body Dementia. Often Lewy Body is associated with Parkinson's and so support groups for those caregivers will be interested to know Lois Harvey in Salem is volunteering for the next five years her time and effort to facilitate, in downtown Salem, MA, a support group for those caregivers dealing with loved ones having Lewy Body symptoms.

WHO TO CALL: Lois is experienced (2007-2017), refreshed, and trained by the Lewy Body Dementia Association. We will be meeting in a private condo so pre-registration is required: call Lois Harvey at 978 744 8740 or email leharvey88@hotmailcom. The meeting room is accessible.
WHEN: Meetings will begin in the early evening when downtown parking should be available: 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM. Monthly, the meetings will be the 3rd Tuesday of each Month: April 18, May 16, June 20, etc.
