More Walk to School Days Scheduled for Salem Schools
Melissa Wilson, Salem's Safe Routes to School Coordinator, has been reaching out to all the elementary schools and Collins Middle School.

With support from Safe Routes to School Salem and Mass in Motion Salem, the Bentley, Saltonstall, and Horace Mann schools will be participating in Walk to School days this spring.
Saltonstall will meet at 7:20 a.m. Thursday May 28 at the Salem Common at the corner of (Forrester and Washington Square).
Bentley will meet at 7:05 a.m. at the same location on the Common, Monday June 1

Horace Mann will meet 7:30 a.m. at the main entrance to Forest River Park, Friday June 5.
Melissa Wilson, Salem’s Safe Routes to School Coordinator, has been reaching out to all the elementary schools and Collins Middle School as well as parents and community stakeholders to motivate and support Walk to School Day planning. “We’ve had a lot of success this month,” said Wilson in a news release, “Carlton School already has an expanding walking group leaving from the Common every Wednesday.”
