Motorcycle Ride to Benefit First Responders & Children

The Kennek Foundation’s seventh annual Trouble the Dog Motorcycle Ride will take place at The Shriners Auditorium, 99 Fordham Road, in Wilmington on Sunday. September 12. Registration opens at 10:00 AM ET and the Ride will begin promptly at 11:00 with a police escort by NEMLEC.

Riders will return to the Shriners Auditorium at 12:00 PM ET and will be welcomed by country music duo Martin and Kelly, who will sing their latest release: “Look for the Helpers” – a moving tribute to first responders.

The Annual Motorcycle Ride, sponsored by Marblehead Opticians, will benefit first responders and the children they serve. Proceeds from the Ride help to place Trouble The Dog plush dogs in police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances and help first responders to provide a source of comfort to children in the event of an accident, fire, domestic situation, or other emergency.

As part of its mission to bring hope and comfort to those experiencing hardship, The Kennek Foundation raises funds that help to distribute plush Trouble the Dog toys and books to first responders to have on hand to help children in crisis situations.
