Moulton Won't Accept Pay During Government Shutdown
"We've got to end this shutdown, but until we do, please reach out to us and we'll help however we can," Moulton said in a video Tuesday.

SALEM, MA -- Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) will be among the federal workers expected to miss their first paycheck of the federal government shutdown Friday. While Moulton could collect his paycheck, he said in a video posted to social media Tuesday that he would not accept pay for the duration of the government shutdown, now in its 19th day.
"President Trump is playing politics with our border security, our public safety, and our federal employees. We’ve got to end this shutdown, but until we do, please reach out to us and we’ll help however we can," Moulton said.
The Salem Democrat also offered instructions for constituents who need to apply for unemployment and information on other resources available to the locked out federal workers. In a press release, Moulton's office said it has already opened more than a dozen cases for people in the 6th Congressional District affected by the shutdown.

If the government shutdown continues through Friday Jan. 11th, many federal workers will miss their expected paychecks. Even though the government is shutdown, there are still resources available to you, and my staff and I are standing by, ready to help. https://t.co/oDv9IYkfuC pic.twitter.com/2AQFAPYAxK
