MRA Announces New Board of Directors
President and CEO of UNO Pizzeria and Grill Louie Psallidas and Founder of Evviva Cucina Nicholas Harron are Elected
Louie Psallidas, President and CEO of UNO Pizzeria and Grill, and Nicholas Harron, Managing Partner of Evviva Cucina in Westford, MA, have been elected to The Massachusetts Restaurant Association's Board of Directors. The two will be joining nine new additions to the board. Psallidas will be serving a three-year term and Harron will be serving a two-year term on a board of experienced food service operators and suppliers.
About Louie Psallidas:
Louie was named President and Chief Executive Officer of UNO in October 2014 after serving over six years as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Louie’s experience in working across all disciplines within UNO combined with his broad institutional knowledge and demonstrated leadership around UNO’s brand strategy and opportunities make him uniquely positioned to propel the Company forward.
Louie joined UNO Pizzeria & Grill in April of 2008. Prior to joining UNO, Louie had worked as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Papa Gino's and D'Angelo restaurant brands since 2000. Prior to 2000 he worked as Chief Financial Officer of John Harvard’s Brew House, also holding the role of President for his final two years with the company.

During his career he has also held the roles of Vice President of Finance with DAKA International, Inc. and Audit Manager with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche. Louie is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Suffolk University. Louie, his wife Lisa, and their three children Kristina, Melissa and Peter, currently reside in North Reading, MA.

Evviva Cucina, founded by Harron in 2013 with partners with the help and support of his partners Robert Walker and Kevin Harron, has since established an excellent reputation of great hospitality and creative cuisine. The Italian-inspired restaurant, known for its vibrant and upbeat atmosphere with a buzzing central kitchen and large bar, has built up a raving and diverse customer base ranging from local families and friends to business and corporate clientele. Looking into the future, Harron has two projects in the works that are set to open in Beverly, MA in early 2017 and Marlborough, MA in late 2017.

The North Reading resident is also a Taste of Middlesex board member, and a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Westford Business Association and Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce. Harron will continue his successful journey in the restaurant and hospitality industry with the support of his wife and son, as well as his whole Evviva team.
