Nahant Drowning Victim Identified: Essex DA's Office

The 22-year-old woman was found unresponsive at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

NAHANT, MA — A 22-year-old native of the Netherlands who was living in Nahant was the victim of an apparent drowning on Tuesday.

The Essex County District Attorney's Office said Elke Noblesse was found unresponsive at the Cary Street Club at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday. No foul play is suspected.

She was taken to Salem Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the definitive cause of death.
