Turner's Seafood Celebrates National Lobster Day with Specialty Lobster Dishes

On Monday, June 15th 2015, Turner’s Seafood is celebrating National Lobster Day at its Salem, MA location with two specialty dishes dedicated to everyone’s favorite summer ingredient.

Executive Chef Yale Woodson has come up with an appetizer and entrée special showcasing the fresh lobster that the restaurant brings in daily. To start, guests can order Chinese steamed buns filled with tempura fried lobster, Napa slaw and sriracha aioli for $14.99. For the main course, Chef Woodson has put together an Early Summer Lobster Pasta. Made with only the freshest lobster meat and sautéed with asparagus, zucchini, heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil and white wine before being tossed with pappardelle pasta ($25.99) and topped with parmesan cheese, this light dish lets the lobster do the talking.

To keep the celebration going, guests can complement the lobster specials with selections from Turner’s specialty cocktail menu which includes the Lifesaver with Bacardi Limon, Limoncello, sour mix, pineapple juice and a sugared rim ($8.75-$12) and the Pomegranate Margarita mixed with Herradura Tequila, sour mix, Cointreau, splashes of pomegranate and lime juice, completed with a sugared rim ($8.75-$12). For a true New England experience, guests can enjoy an ice cold Whales Tail Pale Ale or Sam Adams Seasonal.
