This production will be held in the beautiful Sanctuary of the former First Universalist Church 211 Bridge St. in April.

Auditions for Broadway’s INTO THE WOODS!
Casting for all leading roles and an ensemble of 10.
This production will be held in the beautiful Sanctuary of the former First Universalist Church 211 Bridge St.
AUDITIONS:
SUNDAY, JANUARY 24 at 6pm
MARIANA’S DANCING STUDIO, 7 Market St., Ipswich, MA
All roles open.
Please let us know you are coming.
We are casting ages 13 to adult although Jack and Little Red might go to someone in late teens/early 20’s that look/act youthful. 13 or 14 year olds can come audition for any role but should not expect to get these roles as this is a very challenging show. We would welcome them in the ensemble. All ages that are cast in leads, including young teens would be expected/required to stay until the end of rehearsals and cannot skip due to homework or other conflicts that we usually can work around. This show is very challenging and to be a youth lead, we are looking for very highly comedic skills as well as the maturity to understand the nuances of the role as well as possess the stamina and the vocal power and volume required to match the adults. Before young teens come to an audition for a leading role only, you are welcome to email the director (if you have worked with him before) to ask if he thinks this person, in his opinion, has the capability to handle the role. If these teens are planning to accept a role in the ensemble, then no need to contact the director, just come on down. =========================================
AUDITION PREPARATION: SONG:
If trying out for a specific role, please prepare a song that character sings.
If trying out for a smaller role or ensemble, you can bring in any song you would like. You can bring sheet music but prepare to sing it acapella.
