Help Pick New Salem Public Schools Logo

The district is looking for public input before choosing between four designs to replace the current city logo.

SALEM, MA — Salem Public Schools is planning a logo change and wants input on which of the four finalist designs the district should go with to best represent the "unique identity that unites our 11 (school) communities."

The district currently uses the city seal and a logo created for "Destination Salem" but will soon change to a logo based on a set of themes that came from input from the community.

The district presented those to designer Sperling Interactive, which came up with four logo options:

The district encourages residents and families to share their thoughts on the logos here through Dec. 17.

The community insights will then be brought to the School Committee retreat in January where officials intend to "refine our logo and a corresponding tagline for the Salem Public Schools."
