No Foul Play Indicated In Salem Death Near Train Station
Salem police said the man found dead Tuesday night apparently jumped from the fourth floor of the MBTA parking garage.
SALEM, MA — A man found dead near the Bridge Street MBTA train station in Salem Tuesday night was the victim of an apparent suicide, police said.
Salem police said they responded about 11 p.m. to a report of a man who had apparently jumped from the fourth floor of the parking garage. Police said officers, along with members of the Salem Fire Department and Atlantic Ambulance, gave the victim immediate medical attention, but that he later died at Salem Hospital.
Police said no foul play is indicated, but the death remains under investigation by Salem police, Mass. Transit police and Massachusetts State Police.
