Honor an exceptional teacher! Nominations are currently being accepted for the M. V. Howard Teacher Recognition Award.
The yearly award honors the contributions of one teacher from the Salem school district and one from the Marblehead district as “representative of all the excellent, dedicated teachers in the community who make a difference to children every day.” In honor of its fifteenth year, the award has been raised to $1000 for each of the two honored teachers.
Anyone may submit a detailed confidential letter explaining why the teacher should be honored. Nominators should include their full contact information and send nominations to: howardteacheraward@yahoo.com.
