North Shore CDC Partners with Opus on Give Back Event this Fall
Opus opens their venue to non-profit, North Shore CDC, for philanthropic event.
In partnership with Opus, North Shore Community Development Coalition (CDC) is hosting an evening out at the Opus Underground, located at 87 Washington St. in Salem on Wednesday, November 4th from 6-8pm. North Shore residents and stakeholders are invited to attend to learn more about North Shore CDC’s recent investment in Salem over complimentary appetizers by Opus and drinks by North Shore CDC, with recommended donation. All donations made during the event will directly benefit the low-income residents of Salem served by North Shore CDC’s quality, affordable housing and community development programming.
“At North Shore CDC, we believe community is best build from the ground up and that starts by engaging our community of local businesses and residents in Salem. We’re thrilled to partner with a local restaurant like Opus that shares our value of supporting the people and businesses that make Salem great. When these local stakeholders donate to our work, we’re able to further invest in our neighborhoods to create thriving communities,” commented Jackie Giordano, Director of External Affairs of North Shore CDC.
For a restaurant that actively helps those in need, such as supporting the World Food Program’s efforts in Nepal or participating in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, Opus is thrilled to open their popular Salem venue to local non-profits. North Shore CDC is one of the twelve non-profits featured in Opus’ philanthropic efforts in Salem this year.
