North Shore Free Microchip, Rabies Vaccine Clinic For Dogs, Cats

The clinic will be on May 3 in the rear of the Salem police station at 95 Margin Street.

SALEM, MA — North Shore pet owners can get discounted rabies vaccinations and free microchips for their dogs and cats at the police department on May 3.

Salem police are hosting the clinic from 4 to 6 p.m. at the station on Margin Street. Rabies vaccines are $10 for dogs and cats with both city residents and non-residents welcomed.

Microchips are free for all dogs and cats.

Dogs must be brought on a leash and cats should be kept in carriers. Proof of all previous valid rabies certificates is necessary to receive the three-year rabies vaccine. Otherwise, a one-year shot will be administered.
