NUMSC Annual Riser Lecture: Dr. Os Schmitz

Guest Speaker Dr. Os Schmitz, Oastler Professor of Population and Community Ecology at Yale University, presents his seminar "Conserving Animals Is Our Best Bet For Climate Geoengineering." Conserving the functional diversity of animals in food chains creates a broad portfolio of natural means to mediate biogeochemical processes in ways that could meaningfully affect the global carbon budget.
