Joanne (Kelley) Bogle, 67, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, died Monday, July 16, 2012 in Salem Hospital.

Joanne was born in Salem the daughter of the late William and Marie (Levesque) Kelley and had been a resident of Salem almost all her life. In her younger years, Joanne won many awards in swimming with the YWCA and Salem Playground Association. She retired from the City of Salem having worked in the Collector's Office and the Elections Office. Joanne also worked as a school bus driver for the former Michaud Bus Line and had been a teller at the former Peabody Co-Op Bank.

Joanne is survived by her two sons, Edward Bogle and his wife Christine of Marlborough, MA, and Joshua Bogle and his wife Jenny of Hamilton, MA, her grandchildren, Conner and Olivia Bogle, and her brothers, William Kelley and his wife Barbara of Salem, and David Kelley of Hawaii, her former husband Edward Bogle, and nieces and nephews. Joanne was the sister of the late Jane Costa Frost and Judith Clarke Kelley.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a visitation in the Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem, Monday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joanne's name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation New England Chapter, 60 Walnut Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481, 781-431-0700 or through www.JDRF.org.
