Obituary: Doris Marie (Martin) St. Pierre, Raised in Salem and Graduated From Salem High School

Lifelong communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Salem.

Doris Marie (Martin) St. Pierre 86, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Richard A. St. Pierre, died Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 at Hawthorne Hill in Danvers.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (Dube) Martin. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Mrs. St. Pierre had been employed as a cashier at the Stop & Shop in Salem for several years prior to the time of her retirement.

A lifelong communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Salem, Doris enjoyed spending time with her family. She was devoted to her family and she was very proud of all of their accomplishments. She will be deeply missed.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Alice Williams and her husband John of Salem, Janis Merrow and her husband Thomas of Hampton, N.H. and Barbara Delle Chiaie and her husband Bruce of Greenland, N.H., her sons, Thomas St. Pierre and his wife Joanne of Stoneham, Kenneth St. Pierre and his wife Kathy of Beverly and Robert St. Pierre and his companion Susan of Salem, her ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, her brothers, Paul Martin and his wife Sandy of Stoughton and Robert Martin and his wife Cindy of New Hampshire, her sister Rita Jean and her husband Robert of Salem. She was the grandmother of the late Thomas St. Pierre Jr. and sister of the late George and Raymond Martin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from The O’Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem, Saturday, Feb. 7th, at 11:30 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass which will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem at 12 noon. Relatives and Friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 11:30A.M. In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made in Doris’ memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
