Obituary: Elizabeth M. (Remon) Perreault, Lifelong Resident of Salem

Elizabeth M. (Remon) Perreault, 88, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Joseph Perreault, died Thursday March 5, 2015 at Peabody Glen Health Care Center, Peabody, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Salem she was the daughter of the late George and Cynthia (Garron) Remon. Raised and educated in Salem, Elizabeth was a graduate of Salem High School.

Mrs. Perreault began her career working for the former Dutchess Shoe in Salem, prior to her retirement she had been employed as an assembler for E.G.&G., Salem for many years.
Elizabeth’s greatest passion was her family. She loved spending time with her sons, their families and especially watching her grandchildren grow and being a part of their lives. A warm and fun loving woman, she had a quick wit and a quicker smile, endearing her to those she met and loved. A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, Elizabeth was an avid Bingo player, enjoying many games at St. John the Baptist Church Bingo and was a long time member of the Salem Marine Society.
Elizabeth is survived by her four sons; David Perreault and his wife Maureen of Salem, Gene Perreault and James Andrade of Lewiston, Maine, William Perreault and his wife Joanne of Salem and Donald Perreault and his wife Michelle of Methuen, her seven grandchildren; Scott, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Heather, Jessica, Joseph and Kyle, her six great-grandchildren; Justin, Lisa, David, Ameer, Allahjah and Stella.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Monday, March 9th from 4 to 7 PM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to the Peter B. Seaman Fund, C/O Essex County Community Foundation, 15 Cherry St., Danvers, MA 01923.
