Obituary: Emilia R. (Sowinski) Polizzotti, Left Note to Her Family

She grew up in Salem, and met the love of her life, her tall dark handsome U.S. Navy Sailor. They spent 65 wonderful years together.

Emilia R. (Sowinski) Polizzotti, 93, passed away on April 29th, 2015 at the Rosewood Nursing Home. Emilia is the wife of the late Roselino “Leo”Polizzotti.

Emilia grew up in Salem and as a very young woman, she met the love of her life, her tall dark handsome US Navy Sailor, from then, they spent 65 wonderful years together.

Emilia’s note to her family: I love you all very much and I leave you now to reunite with my loving husband. My daughter, Christine Angela Polizzotti, my granddaughter, Jaqueline Polizzotti, my great granddaughter Ariel Christina Minervini, my son, John Steven Polizzotti, Grandson, Matthew Polizzotti, my son, Robert Polizzotti, granddaughter Catie (Polizotti) Perez, Grandson, Robert Polizotti, my daughter, Lee Ann Chimiel, granddaughter, Emily Ann Chimiel and my sister Tillie Gill, with my many nieces and nephews.

My special note to all of the Rosewood Nursing Home, you took special care for a special lady.
