Joanne L. (Dragon) St.Pierre, 73, of Salem, passed away April 8, 2015 at Salem Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lionel and Corrine (Simard) Dragon.

Born in Salem, Joanne worked for Ideal Baby Shoe in Danvers, Dutchess Footwear in Salem, Salem Old Fashioned Candy in Salem, Parker Brothers in Salem, Christy’s Cleaners in Salem, and most recently at Stop & Shop in Swampscott where she retired in 2007. Joanne enjoyed doing Jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, gardening and loved spending time with her dog, Pepsi.

Joanne is survived by her brother Harvey Dragon and his wife Sheila of Salem, many nieces and nephews, and her dear and close friend Brenda Leighton of Salem. She is predeceased by her brothers Henry Dragon, Richard Dragon, and her sister, Corine Hidler.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Sunday from noon to 4 pm at the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem. Her funeral will be Monday at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, Jefferson Ave Salem at 10am. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
