Obituary: Lillian J. Gajewski, Lifelong Salem Resident
She worked for many years at Sylvania Company in Salem and then in her later years at Varian in Beverly.

Lillian J. Gajewski, 92, beloved wife of the late Leonard J. Gajewski, with whom she had shared over 50 years of marriage, passed away Tuesday, February 17th at Blueberry Hill Health Care Center. Born in Salem, she is the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Emily (Demeule) Gagnon.
Lillian was raised in Salem and attended and graduated from Saint Joseph’s School. She worked for many years at Sylvania Company in Salem and then in her later years at Varian in Beverly. Lillian enjoyed taking walks and traveling with her husband. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, and most of all loved being with her family.

She is survived by her two children: Joseph L. Gajewski and his fiancé Casey Leeds of Beverly and Lisa M. Young of Peabody; one brother: Robert Gagnon and his wife Claire of Beverly: one sister Jacqueline Gagnon of Salem; three grandchildren: Justine, Jennifer and Mark Young all of Peabody; one great grandchild: Ronin Stavros; her sister-in-law Florence Gagnon and many friends. She is predeceased by her siblings Arthur Gagnon, Clement Gagnon, Leona Drain, Doris Gagnon, Theresa Gagnon, Anita Twarkins, Laura Mahoney and Antoinette Mackey.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch Street, Beverly on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hour will be at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Friday from 4 to 7 P.M. Burial will be in North Beverly Cemetery.
