Obituary: Lorraine E. (Lapham) Mandeville, Enjoyed Helping People

Graveside service planned.

Lorraine E. (Lapham) Mandeville, age 81, of Salem, died Monday, June 29, 2015 in Union Hospital after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late George Mandeville.

Born in Salem, Lorraine was the daughter of the late George and Ida (Berube) Lapham. She attended Salem Schools and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Nurse’s Aide for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Hogan Regional Center. In later years, she worked as a driver for the North Shore Elder Services and as a clerk for Stop & Shop in Beverly.

Lorraine enjoyed helping people and loved to play BINGO!!!

She is survived by her son, Shawn F. Mandeville of Salem and three grandchildren: George Mandeville, Mark Mandeville and Emma Mandeville.

ARRANGEMENTS- Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service which will be held graveside in St. Mary’s Cemetery, North St. Salem on Monday, July 6th at 9:00AM. As requested, there will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
