Obituary: Lorraine G. (LaPlante) Hendricks, Lived Her Whole Life in Salem Where she Raised Her Family

Lorraine G. (LaPlante) Hendricks, 91, of Salem, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Bertram Hendricks.

Born in Salem, Lorraine was the daughter of the late George and Anna Marie (Viel) LaPlante. Lorraine was a graduate of Salem High School and lived her whole life in Salem where she raised her family. She loved to go dancing with friends and enjoyed all types of music.

She is survived by her daughters, Gale Saunders of Maine, Mary Lou Scialdone of Salem, and Melanie Provost of Salem, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her dear friends Delia Riley and Jacqueline Silva. Lorraine is predeceased by her siblings, Orin LaPlante, Bertram LaPlante, Marie (LaPlante) Clancy, Richard LaPlante, and Ronald LaPlante; and her close friend Mary-Jane O’Keefe.
