Obituary: Lucille L. (LeClerc) Begley, Worked at the Registry of Deeds in Salem

Lucille L. (LeClerc) Begley, 81, of Salem, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Blueberry Hill Healthcare in Beverly following a long illness. She was the wife of John F. Begley of Salem.

Born in Salem, Lucille was the daughter of the late Rene and Clara (Dube) LeClerc. As a younger woman, Lucille worked in the offices of the Registry of Deeds in Salem, and also for George Marquis Insurance in Salem. She was an animal lover and had a great love for her dogs Cindy, Gretchen, and Buffy throughout her life.

Along with her husband John F. Begley of Salem, Lucille is survived by a son, Kevin Begley and his wife Kelly of Topsfield, MA and a grandson, Jason K. Begley of Topsfield, MA. Along with her parents, Lucille was predeceased by a sister, the late Jeannette Bois.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Rt.1A/114) Salem, Friday from 4-6:30pm. A memorial service will be held during the visitation. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lucille’s name to Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970 or to Care Dimensions Hospice 75 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923.
