OBITUARY: Theresa (Languirand) Marchand, Formerly of Salem

Theresa (Languirand) Marchand, 85, of Salisbury, MA formerly of Salem, died Sunday in Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill. She was the wife of the late Bertrand Marchand. 

Born in Salem, Theresa was the daughter of the late Alfred and Julie Rose (Beaudet) Languirand. She had been a resident of Salem prior to moving to Salisbury 30 years ago. 

Surviving are one son, Leo Marchand and his wife Penny of Salisbury, MA, three daughters; Linda Pelletier and her husband Raymond of Beverly, Janet Maloney and her husband William of White River Junction, VT, and Julie Marchand of Salisbury, MA; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one brother, Gerald Languirand of Raymond, NH, two sisters; Gertrude St Pierre of Salem, and Claire Moore of Salisbury, MA, and nieces and nephews. Theresa was the mother of the late Reina Kilimonis and sister of the late Philip Languirand. 

Her funeral will be held from the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St (Rt.1A/114) Salem Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne's Church, Jefferson Ave. Salem at 10am. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm.
