Thomas Henry Newman, 78, of Salem, passed away, Saturday, May 23, 2015, at home surrounded by his family. Tom was the loving husband of Barbara (Harrison) Newman with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.

As a life-long resident of the North Shore area, spending his last fifty years in Salem, Tom was a graduate of Lynn Classical’s class of 1954. He served his country as a member of the National Guard for six years. Tom had a passion for words and enjoyed reading everyday.
