William C. “Billy” Semons, 74, of Salem passed away Monday evening at Beverly Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Kelley Semons of Salem.
Born in Salem, Billy was the son of the late Floyd Semons and Eleanor (Swasey) Conrad. Billy was educated in Salem Schools and worked for a time as a mason before starting his own business, Zip Up Products, Inc. in 2003.
Billy loved to go boating with his friends and family and he loved being out on the open sea. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed living on the water in Salem. Along with his wife, Kelley (Love) Semons of Salem, Billy is survived by his two stepchildren Delaine of Haverhill and Reese of Salem, an uncle, Frank Swasey and his wife Patricia of Salem and many cousins.
